Introduction
Billy grew up in the Memphis area which has a great jazz legacy in addition to the blues, rock ‘n roll and soul music for which it is famous. He enjoys and collects many different types of music. Living in Los Angeles, Washington, D.C, and San Francisco, cities with ready access to jazz in clubs, concerts, and on local radio, made him a confirmed fan of jazz music.
In Memphis, Billy hosted a weekly blues show on a local radio station, as well as an album feature show on Memphis jazz artists. He and his wife Robin, a Massachusetts native, relocated to Cape Cod in 2022. He is happy to be back on the radio at SCR to share his musical tastes and weekly selections.
